Our Why: A Different View of Wellness

At Betenbough Companies, we believe wellness isn’t about perfection—it’s about wholeness: health and hope, and the belief that where you are today isn’t where you have to stay. Whole health considers the whole person—body, soul, and spirit—so you can live with purpose at work, at home, and as you reveal God’s Kingdom in the marketplace.

This perspective was shaped by our late founder, Rick Betenbough, who challenged us to pursue healing with courage and curiosity—seeking truth, not quick fixes. That’s why we offer more than traditional coverage: full-panel bloodwork, 1:1 evaluations, access to holistic providers, and resources to help your body, soul, and spirit work in sync. Wellness is personal, and we’re here to walk with you and your family.

Veritas Medical x Betenbough Companies Partnership
Our journey to seek truth in wellness led us to partner with Dr. Ben Edwards and the Veritas team—people who share our heart for a Kingdom-minded approach to health. Veritas views wellness through both a biological and biblical lens, combining clinical care with whole-person support that addresses symptoms and root causes.

The 4 Pillars of Health

As we’ve embraced a renewed outlook on health, we’ve adopted Veritas’ Four Pillars of Health—foundational pieces that help us experience a healthy body, soul, and spirit by God’s design.

peace

Aligning and focusing on truth brings peace. Creating margin in our day to slow down allows us to stay in peace.

movement

Movement is important for so many aspects of health: from normalizing blood sugar, elevating mood, and hydrating cells, to removing toxins and rejuvenating cells. Our bodies are designed to move!

hydration

Adequate hydration is critically important for every system in the body! Healthy metabolism, cell formation, digestion, healthy blood flow, deeper sleep, and improved brain function are just a few.

nutrition

Our body thrives when we eat a whole food diet with a wide variety of nutrients!
